Recognizing its growing involvement in national educational policy discussions, common weaknesses in conceptual development and formal project management of its partners, considered as one of the main shortcomings with a vast majority of local NGOs and the Church in Armenia, the ART has requested EED to fund ART activities to assist ART with involvement in national educational policy discussions and support conceptual development and professional management of its partners. The goal of the project is to improve food security in Nagorno Karabagh, which still suffers the aftermaths of the blockade and war with Azerbaijan. The objective of the project is to establish and expand a livestock farm, and channel received income to humanitarian projects carried out by the Diocese for the region, particularly in support of orphaned children and elderly people. Christian Education and Social Diakonia
The project aimed at developing a hub-centre in one of the cities of Artsakh, Stepanakert, that will serve as a bridge and spread educational materials of the Centre for Christian Education to schools in the neighboring regions and thus re-introduce Christian faith and values to students and schoolchildren, assist in improving the general level of education through computer and language training.
