During the two-month training courses, the trainees obtained essential skills in the use of computers and undertook the preparation work of the event. Students were more importantly provided the opportunity to explore the endless resources of internet (used dial-up connection) and literature property to develop materials for the Power Point presentation.

Twenty three students and the youth, teachers and parents - community members from villages Gai, Metsamor, Aknashen, Araks participated in the event, and were involved in active discussion after the presentation. Armenushi, who is a parent and journalist mentioned: “The work done by our children is so sensitive that made us think over the issue; the importance of water and moreover, saving the water; gave knowledge on Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, History, Biology, Ecology and what is very important – computer technology that makes all the presented information more effective and visual. The work is done with great accuracy and willingness. This work develops great sense of responsibility, self-development and team-work in our children, make them creative and hard-working”.

This kind of work in the computer center fosters not only the students’ computer literacy and language skills but also creative and analytical thinking, new methods of learning, teamwork and teambuilding, integration of Information Technologies into society. Also the students are able to share their experiences with their colleagues and peers. “We need to organize and participate in such events often. People are not used to expressing their feelings, speaking and sharing. We learned a lot from participation in this presentation, became more active and informed. It taught us to be caring and helpful, and bring up our children with great sense of responsibility to care for the nature and environment. Computer trainings improved our knowledge and skills, taught working with and in a team. I am also glad that your project gives an opportunity not only the students but all age and target groups of society” said Ms. Anjela, a teacher on History of Religion from town Metsamor and suggested to organize exchange of experiences in other communities of Armavir Diocese. The suggestion was welcomed and a plan of activities was planned immediately.
