Do No Harm Application Workshop

Improving Nersisyan Forest

By blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Armenia Round Table in collaboration with the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, UNDP Armenia Office and Armenia Tree Project Charitable Foundation launched a tree planting event on April 11, 2010. 50 elm-trees were planed in Nersisyan forest which is located in the vicinity of the Mother See and is of historic significance for all Armenians. Celebration of Holiday of Motherhood and Beauty in the Cross of Armenian Unity

Children Celebrating Palm Sunday

The Department of Christian Education of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with the support of the ART backed by its partner Churches Helping Churches, Germany, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, initiated celebrations of Palm Sunday with the involvement of about 14 000 children from 350 kindergartens throughout Armenia. Web Design and Management Workshop

Conflict Sensitiveness and Do No Harm ToT

In November 2009, EED continued trainings on Do No Harm (DNH), this time it was the concept of Conflict Sensitiveness and DNH TOT (Training of Trainers). The trainings took place in Tbilisi. 7 participants from different EED partner organizations: YMCA Armenia, YMCA Georgia, CTC Georgia, CSRDG Georgia and ART Armenia were taking part in it. A new performance at the Cross of Armenian Unity

On November 13, the Fairy Tale Theatrical House of the Cross of Armenian Unity staged a performance on the plot of the fairy tale by Grimm Brothers “Cinderella.” The director of the stage, Gevorg Babakhanyan, gave a new breath to the performance by flavoring the play with the appearance of Armenian national fairy tale hero, which as opined by one of the young actors of the theatre “gave freshness to the fairy tale and made it amusing.” [learn more]

Summary note on ART Annual Meeting

About 60 participants to the meeting were ART partners from the Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenian Catholic and Armenian Evangelical Churches, local NGOs, ecumenical agencies, volunteers and beneficiaries from ART established centers.
